Centre for Pastoral Development.
The Pastoral Plan calls us to be Church in a new way, where the family of the Church is called to truly be family; where each member is acknowledged, valued and loved.
We at the Centre for Pastoral Development are here to assist parishes with education, skills training and formation to carry out the Pastoral Plan. We are proud to offer you this booklet to help you as deanery and parish pastoral councils plan your training and development. We foster collaborative ministry and promote this value in all the training that is given. We will develop materials where needed and collaborate at all levels to create opportunities for evangelisation and the realisation of the vision to deepen our Communion and make our Mission fruitful.
Every member of the Centre is committed to realising this new vision of Church so as to work out their salvation in Christ through exercising their mission and the gifts given them in the Holy Spirit.

"The future of humanity
passes by way of the family" – John Paul II, Familiaris Consortio, 86.“Today, if
they are to give a truly human face to society, no people can ignore the
precious good of the family, founded on marriage. ‘The matrimonial covenant, by
which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole
of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the
procreation and education of offspring’. click here for more.
Youth
We are striving to build
a sustainable model which will ensure the empowerment of our youth through
leadership formation, evangelisation programmes, youth mentorship and youth
representation at parish, deanery, diocesan and national level. click here for more.
